The attacks by Maoists in Andhra Pradesh have been increasing and constantly rising day by day. As a part of the atrocious activities conducted by them, yesterday, Andhra Pradesh MLA Kidari Sarveswar Rao and former MLA Sivaseri Soma were brutally shot dead by Maoists. They have also burnt a police station to ashes.
Following this, security has been tightened at Tamilnadu borders, and the border safety patrol is on vigil over the borders monitoring it on a 24 hour constant basis. In such a scenario, the Maoists have sent a 5 page announcement to the media. In the announcement they have condemned the fascists’ behavior and attitude of the central government, and it has blamed the central government of chasing the tribal people and robbing the mineral resources.
They have also condemned the
Thoothukudi Sterlite shootout and killing of civilians, and the suppression of
people protesting against the Chennai - Salem 8 way road project. It has been
said that to oppose the central government, a gorilla force is being formed,
and that this armed protest will be called united front, said the
announcement. After this letter from them, the TN border security has
been tightened.
