The first day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Shailputri. On this day, she must be adorned with yellow colored clothes and flowers. The second day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Brahmacharini. On this day, she must be adorned with green colored clothes and basil leaves. The third day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Chandraghanta.



On this day, she must be adorned with grey colored clothes. The fourth day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Kushmanda. Moreover on this day, she must be adorned with orange colored clothes and flowers. The fifth day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Skandmata. On this day, she must be adorned with white colored clothes and flowers and the sixth day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Katyayani. On this day, she must be adorned with bright red colored clothes and flowers.

The seventh day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Kaalratri. On this day, she must be adorned with blue colored clothes and flowers. The eight day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Mahagauri. On this day, she must be adorned with pink colored clothes and flowers and hence the ninth day of Navaratri is dedicated to the worshiping of Maa Siddhidatri. On this day, she must be adorned with violet colored clothes and flowers.
