TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu may be wrong or right or both about job threats to techies from Seemandhra in Hyderabad , which has developed into a software capital of India oor as it is aptly tagged as the Redmond valley of India ( Redmond hills is where cyber gaints of US are located).
Naidu has been frightening the engineering students of Coastal andhra that they would job opportunities in Hyderabad after Telagnana is formed .But what Naidu is hiding is the true facts that there were nearly 5 lakh software techies with out jobs in the state and that majority of them are from Seemandhra .Naidu's privatisation of engineering education in nineties had led to splurge of engineeringcolleges which has touched the mark of over 750 colleges graduating over 2 lakh techies every year. However the recession in the industry has now led to slow down and there were no takers for almost 1.5 lakh seats last year and this year the numer is to touch 2 lakh vacant seats.
