Reports added during his interaction with a section of Muslim community the other day, when an advocate Jawahar Ali had questioned Pawan to make a statement on his association with the BJP and his support to it, Pawan responded in a stunning manner. Meanwhile when defending BJP, Pawan stated that BJP is "not Hindu" party. Pawan said that BJP is just a political party.
Accordingly Pawan said that when he had supported BJP in 2014, he said many had warned him against it as the party works closely with Sangh. Furthermore justifying his act, Pawan said that if that was the case, he added that one cannot associate with any political party and also he said regional political parties have no option but to choose one among the two national political parties (Congress or BJP).
Moreover these remarks of Pawan defending BJP have come in at the time of TDP's allegations that Pawan is acting at the behest of Modi and BJP. Pawan's fresh comments are already drawing ire from a section of people. Hence apart from this, his supportive statements on BJP is adding more fuel to the ongoing speculations that Pawan would lend post poll support to BJP in 2019.
