11 police officers who had worked alongside IG Pon Manickavel had yesterday lodged a complaint against him in the Chennai DGP office. Yesterday, 13 policemen had given a complaint against Pon Manickavel, following which today 11 have filed a complaint.
After this incident, one of them, who happened to be ADSP Ilango, said, "Pon Manickavel does not give freedom for the investigating officer to investigate and forces them to investigate as per his wishes, and he wants the actions to be taken and cases to be proceeded in a way he wants, and even when there was no evidence he has ordered arrests.
