Accordingly Congress firebrand leader Revanth Reddy's defeat is one of the most upsetting things for Congress and political experts did not expect this. Reportedly TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao directed his party men to defeat Revanth at any cost and accordingly they sketched special strategies. Meanwhile they worked big time and eventually, Revanth lost the poll from Kodangala with over nine thousands votes.
Furthermore stunned by this, Revanth stayed away from media and people for nearly two weeks. Finally, he appeared before leaders from his constituency and spoke extensively with them. Revanth alleged that missing of votes costs his loss. Revanth said "Thousands of Congress voters were deliberately removed by the Election Commission and it was all part of KCR's conspiracy”.
Moreover Revanth said let the bygones be bygones and asked his local party men to focus on the upcoming Sarpanch elections. Reports added he advised them also to enroll for vote and make sure this time their name appears in the voters list and further Revanth is said to be taking sarpanch election quite prestigious and prove his stamina in the party.
