Recently the central government had passed an amendment regarding the reservation for the general category people based on their economic status. However this was not accepted by many and ADMK MP and deputy speaker of Lok Sabha, Thambidurai attacked the central government.

 


He said that the government must improve the living quality of people and must not do this reservation as people might misuse this by producing fake income proofs and avail reservation.

Thambidurai also questioned on what happened to the promise made by the central government and Prime Minister Modi before elections to deposit 15 lakhs in citizens accounts and added that if the amount had been deposited, there won't be need for reservation
