South Indian film industry’s dream girl Hansika, who has worked alongside most of the southern stars and was last seen in Vikram Prabhu’s Thuppakki Munai, is currently shooting for her 50th film titled Maha. Meanwhile the project and its first look poster were announced by Dhanush via a special tweet in August last year and the makers went on the floors early last year. Recently the makers have so far released multiple posters of Hansika donning different avatars in the film.

Furthermore in one of the posters, she is seen holding a gun in a bathtub filled with what appears to be blood. Earlier on Monday, Hansika suffered a minor injury on the sets of the film while shooting for an action sequence. Apparently, the scene required her to do a somersault and she bruised herself in the process.

A source said “It is an important scene, which she was performing really well. Unfortunately, she slipped and injured her hand. There was some amount of bleeding as well and the team immediately gave her first aid and asked her to head home. But Hansika was keen to continue shoot. She wore a bandage and shot for her portions that didn’t involve any hand movement”. Moreover ‘Maha’ is tipped to be a female centric film and that’s what got Hansika really excited. Further the regular shooting is expected to commence in a few weeks and the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
