In Marina beach three school students who went to swim drowned and are missing. 15 students studying in selaiyur corporation school in Tambaram lied in homes that they're going to school and went to Marina beach to swim in sea. Three students Vinoth, Sathish Kumar and Senthilkumar who belonged to Guindy and Tambaram drowned when they were swimming.
Their friends made a complaint to police as they could not find them following which police teams, fishermen and special police force with helicopters are searching them. Though police constantly warn not to swim in beaches, people repeat the mistakes. This is not the first time such an incident has happened and caused havoc.
Police have set various notices and warning boards across the beach and still, such incidents happen at regular intervals. A police officer said, "People should respect the notice boards and warnings. We cannot protect everyone all the time." Stay tuned for more updates.
