A Trichy based woman was arrested by police for faking a kidnap drama and planning to steal 20 lakhs from a food center owner. Initially, the food center owner had received threats calls from strangers saying of kidnapping a woman, demanding 20 lakhs to release her. Mayilvaganan owns a food center in Trichy, and in his center a woman was working for 3 years.
He had got money after selling his house and noticing this, the lady had planned to steal the money. Mayilvaganan received a call were kidnappers demanded 20 lakhs to release her.
Mayilvaganan went to police and then got a call from the lady who said she had jumped from the kidnappers but when police questioned people in the area they revealed she was not escaping from any kidnappers and later she accepted that it was all her drama. This incident has caused huge ripples among the netizens and the news has gone viral.
