After an unexpected sudden raid made by Madurai police at the most popular Rajaji Children's park more than 20 couples were arrested. The couples were seen in compromising positions, seen getting intimate and kissing and cuddling each other, thereby affecting the public.
It was following repeated complaints from general public who could not take their families or kids to the park that they made the complaint which lead to cops reaching the park. The couples caught included both college boys and girls as well as office going middle aged couples and they were taken to the nearest police station.
In a twist to the event, no FIR was filed or legal action was taken but the cops called the parents of the couples to the station and informed them of the happenings, and following their arrival, gave an advise on public behavior and warned them not to repeat such things again besides taking an undertaking from them.
