Reportedly a pre-wedding reception of producer and filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth and actor and businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi was held at Raghavendra Kalyanamandapam in Chennai on Friday. Accordingly the reception was a private affair with only family members attending the event and recently pictures from the event that were shared on Twitter show the couple standing on a stage, surrounded by their family members.
Furthermore, pictures from the ceremony show the bride’s family members, including father and actor Rajinikanth seen wearing a simple white kurta pyjama, sister Aishwarya and mother Latha. Apparently Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth are seen on stage, welcoming guests. Both Aishwarya and Latha are seen twining in lime green Kanjeevarams and the wedding is slated to take place in Chennai on February 11.
Moreover Vishagan Vanangamudi, who made his acting debut in 2018 with Vanjagar Ulagam, is the son of SS Vanangamudi, Founder of Apex Laboratories Pvt Ltd., a Chennai based pharmaceutical company. Accordingly Soundarya, Rajinikanth’s younger daughter, was previously married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar. Earlier the filmmaker filed for divorce at a family court in Chennai in December 2016, six years after marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and the couple has a son named Ved Krishna.
