As per report universal hero Kamal Hassan and superstar Rajinikanth are the pillars of Kollywood industry. Coincidentally both announced their political entry more or less at the same time. Meanwhile the other day, Rajinikanth has announced that he and his party, Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) is not contesting the Lok Sabha polls, to focus on assembly elections.
Furthermore this decision of Rajini did not go well with many and even his counterpart, Kamal Hassan. When taking a swipe at Rajini, Kamal said, "He have entered politics and he cannot avoid elections. If we say that we will see in the next elections, then people will not respect it and after tabling a banana leaf we cannot avoid eating the food."
Moreover Kamal also did not leave DMK president Stalin. "They have no shame to copy us. Grama Sabha is an old concept and decades old party like DMK is copying just one and half year old." Reportedly the 64 year old actor turned politician said his party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) will contest all the 39 Parliament seats in Tamilnadu and also the one in Puducherry.
