Politician Kaduvetti Guru's mother Kalyani has said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, she will contest against Anbumani and this was confirmed by her family members. Former MLA and Vanniyar association leader Kaduvetti Guru had passed away after health issues a few months back in Chennai Apollo hospital.
His family has been accusing that PMK founder Ramadoss and his son Anbumani Ramadoss are the reasons behind Guru's death. Following these accusations, now Kaduvetti Guru's sister Meenakshi, cousin Mani, son in law Manoj and Vengai Ayyanar met the media in Salem and announced that Guru's mother Kalyani will contest Lok Sabha elections.
Guru had worked for 40 years for the welfare of his caste people and for PMK but Anbumani and Ramadoss promised to help him with treatment but never did it and lead to his death, and there are also accusations made against his son Kanal Arasan, and hence this decision has been taken.
