We all know that KPN travels is a private travel company which is operating long distances Intercity buses which is being operated between major south Indian cities of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry. Presently many are booking online tickets to travel in the bus and the company operates A/c sleeper, semi sleeper and non A/c sleeper and semi sleeper buses. The ticket fare has reached a greater climb and people book tickets to have a comfortable journey between major cities.



On Sunday (17/02/19) a passenger had booked a ticket to travel with their son and daughter from Chennai to Coimbatore. Actually the boarding time for the bus was 9 pm from Adyar, Chennai. The passenger reached the boarding point by 8.30 PM and were intimated that the bus was delayed by 1.15 hours. They were waiting and as per instructions from travels people they were asked to board another bus to reach T.Nagar. They boarded the bus and were dropped in T. Nagar. Later they were instructed to board another bus to Guindy as bus which they booked will be reaching Guindy boarding point. But when they reached Guindy, bus driver said they will  drop the passengers at Perungulathur. But when the bus reached Perungulathur, driver said he was instructed to drop passengers at Vandaloor. Time was around 12am. Many female passengers started to shout and a guy made a call to KPN GM. But no reply from him. Late in the night the family and many passengers left stranded for 4 hours not knowing what to do.

A passenger immediately made a call to nearby police station and SI was present there. After few minutes of discussions and arguments at around 2 am the driver who dropped them at Perungulathur decided to drop them at Coimbatore in the same bus which they travelled.  Without water and instant help, the passengers were totally in depressed state of mind. On Monday morning the bus reached destination by 11.30 am when the destined time was 6.30am. Presently KPN bus is running company for business motive and they didn't arrange for alternative bus and service mentality is missing. Many passengers are facing such type of problems every day. Passengers are not informed in prior about the situation instead are diverted to different places which is a disappointment to all. Will KPN travels take steps to rectify the same and work with service attitude or continue with similar type of problems and disappoint trusting passengers. Shame on the travels behavior and attitude.
