The agreement has been signed between DMK and Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Congress has been reportedly given 10 seats in Tamilnadu. The deal between ADMK - BJP and PMK was signed recently, but there were constant delays in the deal between long term friends Congress and DMK.
Following this yesterday the meeting was held between DMK and Congress, and Rahul Gandhi had conducted meeting with senior congress members and also with DMK MP Kanimozhi. Following this Mukul Wasnik had arrived to Chennai, and met TN congress people and then went to DMK office Arivalayam, and the deal was signed after a discussion.
The meeting was attended by Duraimurugan, Stalin, Mukul Yasnik, KS Alagiri, Venugopal, and Cong was given 10 seats including a seat in Pondicherry. DMK has bonded with the Congress party and Netizens have started trolling this with various memes on the social media. This has been criticized by most of them.
