Hyderabad sources reported that Telangana government Vote On Account Budget session commenced yesterday, the first day of the four day session. Accordingly Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) moved a resolution in the state Assembly to condemn the terror attack claimed by the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror outfit. He said "This was an attack on the nation," and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families."



Meanwhile the session started with homage to the soldiers and two minute silence was observed as mark of respect for those who were martyred in the Pulwama attack. Furthermore KCR condemned the attack on the CRPF soldiers, calling it a heinous crime and announced an amount of Rs 25 lakhs support from the state of Telangana to each of the families of the slain soldiers, which was appreciated by all the members in the assembly.

Moreover opposition leader of the floor Bhatti Vikramarka took to the floor and condemned the attack on the soldiers and appreciated the government's decision to extend monetary aid to the families of the soldiers. Reports added the government will ensure appropriate fund towards fulfilling some of the poll promises such as one lakh farm rupee loan waiver and Rythu Bandhu scheme and the budget session will conclude with adoption of the Appropriation Bill on the last day, February 25.
