Hardly 15 days to retire the DGP V Dinesh Reddy has attracted wrath of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy for his anti-media acts of lasst week .The DGP had hoisted cases on Z-24 Gantalu and two other channels for reporting his 'open visit' to a godman of old city -Idrus Baba - of Fatesh Darwaza and attracted media dharna and protests.
Sources in CMO said the CM had directed the Chief Secretary P K Mohanty to seek an investigation from the erring DGP .' Just because he is DGP, he can not do anything he wants .He is also a citizen ' Kiran had retorted in his conversation with the CS. Mohanty had dashed off a letter to DGP for explanation and also sent a copy of it to the Home Ministry which is already permitted the CBI to prome he charges agaisnt him . It is said that the state Government has alsor eceived a copy of that letter , but in view of his retirement soon things were kept under hat .
Sources in the police department say that things would have been smoother for Dinesh Reddy in view of his Delhi connections if he had kept a low profile and waited for a right time to and project his case.Dinesh Reddy was one of the IPS officers who could have direct access to high level congress leaders and even complain about CM and others. �� s.
