As per report the Election Commission of India is planning to hold general elections on the same day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Meanwhile this unique was request made by YSR Congress party stating that there could be chances of double voting if the elections in Telangana state are held on two different says. 



Furthermore when stating that there are several people from Andhra Pradesh who work and live in Telangana but have their voting right in their native state, YSR Congress made the request to the EC.  Reportedly on the other hand, the Election Commission also believes that holding the elections on the same day will bring down the expenditure, apart from omitting the issue of votes duplication.

Moreover the YSR Congress is also alleging that there are bogus voters in AP and the TDP has rubbished these claims and states that it is making sure that bogus voters are removed from the list. However, political observers argue that once a voter votes in one state, the ink is the indication that he/she has voted. Apparently it would be difficult for a person to vote twice unless the EC and local booth officials miss out observing such things.
