Recently, there were raids conducted in IT Grids, an IT firm behind Seva Mitra, an app of the Telugu Desam party and following this, the TRS party has claimed that TDP had been using the company to acquire data pertaining to TRS and on the other hand, TDP has said that YSRCP and TRS are partnering to steal data pertaining to TDP. With this issue, two states are fighting directly with data pertaining to lot of people.
Let's see the different aspects of this dirty data War involving two states, two chief ministers and the Indian prime minister itself.
a) Earlier, TRS Chief KCR, irked by Chandrababu Naidu's participation in the Telangana election campaign had vowed to give him a payback. And since then TRS started involving in Andhra Pradesh politics and got support from YSRCP.
b) If proven that TDP accusations on data theft by TRS are true, it'll be a huge black mark for Telangana government. On Telangana police have claimed to have evidence that IT Grids has information pertaining to Andhra Pradesh and its people and that AP government is breaching data privacy.
c) While Andhra Pradesh government has demanded Andhra police involvement in investigation, it has been ruled out with the involvement of AP administrator CBN itself. This Data war however has proven yet again that digital data storage methods needs to be more safe and secure.
