The Election Commission of India has announced that the 2019 General election will be held in seven phases from April 11th to May 19th. March 25th is the last day for nominations while March 28th is the last date to withdraw the nominations.

But this has been a huge blow to unprepared parties as they are left with very less time. Both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states election will happen on April 11th and both the states should wait for a span of 42 days after polling to know the results.

The election to all the 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh will be held on April 11th in the first phase itself. The 17 MP seats in Telangana will also go to polls in the first phase on April 11th. So, the wishes of YSRCP leaders to conduct elections to both the Telugu speaking states has been fulfilled. The TDP leaders were really unhappy with this aspect.
