Junior NTR's father-in-law Narne Srinivasa Rao joined YSR Congress party last month. Narne Srinivasa Rao is relative of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. He joining Jagan's party has raised eyebrows. There were reports that he is seeking Chilakaluripeta or Guntur Ticket from YSR Congress.
Latest is that Jagan denied him a ticket in this elections but appointed as YSR Congress Party Central Governing Council Member and the orders were issued. He is planning to use Narne in the campaign against TDP. Jagan is expecting this to create a rift within Nandamuri fans and bring the section supporting NTR to YSR Congress fold.
On the other side, NTR is staying away from politics. He didn't even come to campaign for his sister Suhasini when she fielded as TDP candidate from Kukatpally constituency in the recent Telangana Assembly polls. He will remain neutral in this election as well like how he did in 2014 elections.
