With the elections going to decide the fate of everyone in not less than a month, the polling in the Godavari districts is going to play a crucial role in deciding the Andhra Pradesh's next chief minister.
As per the numbers, both the West Godavari and East Godavari comprises of 34 Assembly seats.

West Godavari has 19 assembly seats and East Godavari has 15 assembly seats. Reportedly, the major political parties like TDP, YCP, and Jana Sena are concentrating more on these districts as all the three parties have an equal number of supporters.


In 2014 elections, TDP has demonstrated its potential and Chandra Babu Naidu has become the first chief minister of independent Andhra Pradesh and the victory on Godavari districts helped him a lot. Now in 2019 elections, TDP is confident of repeating the same victory in this district with a huge majority.


According to the results of a recent survey, the ruling party is facing a lot of opposition0 from the people. Out of the said 34 seats, TDP could only manage to dominate the other parties in three constituencies. In 9 constituencies, the party stood in 2nd place, and in the remaining 22 constituencies, the party stood in 3rd place. So as per the result, the party may have to face a tough fight from other parties.


Coming to YSRCP, the party has a chance to win in 16 positions. The party might end up in second place in 11 places and third place in 7 constituencies. On the whole. YSRCP can sweep the election in 16 places out of 34.
Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party could win in 10+ constituencies depending on the leaders who are contesting for the poll.
