YS Vivekananda Reddy, who is the brother of Late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy passed away earlier today at his home in Pulivendula. We hear from officials that he passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Vivekananda Reddy was born on August 8, 1950, in Pulivendula and he served as MLA, MLC, and MP when Andhra Pradesh was an undivided state. He is the younger brother of YSR Reddy. He completed his degree from SV Agriculture University, Tirupati.
He won as an MLA in 1989,1994 and later in 1999 and 2004 he won from Kadapa segment. He was also the Agriculture minister under Kiran Kumar's regime. After that, he resigned and joined YSRCP. His last rites will take place at Idupulapaya.
