In what can be termed as a major embarrassment for the Ruling Telugu Desam Party, Former Minister Adhala Prabhakar Reddy, who was nominated as TDP candidate from Nellore Rural Assembly constituency, announced that he would not be contesting for the Cycle Party.
He told the media that he is going to join the YSR Congress. He wants to contest the MP and it will be clear to the evening, he told a TV channel. Shocking the Telugu Desam Party, Prabhakar Reddy said he would not contest from Nellore Rural. Interestingly, Adala refused Nellore MP seat from TDP.
He went on to say that TDP leaders are trying to defeat him and it is of no use even after he informed about them to Chandrababu Naidu. Adala contested from Nellore Parliament on TDP Ticket in 2014 elections and lost by a less margin. A Ticket confirmed candidate leaving the party will damage TDP image big time.
