Controversial Director Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi's NTR is about the controversial take on NTR's Last Days. The makers have finalized March 22nd to bring the film to the audience. However, the TDP activist Devi Babu Chowdary complained to the Election Commission that the release of the film should not be released in the wake of the forthcoming elections.
The Censor board ordered the film release to be stopped by the makers. The Censor Board suggested that the film could be released after the polls were completed. The Elections will happen on April 11th and the movie can release only after that. This postponement will mean the hype on the film will die down totally.
Ram Gopal Varma responded by saying that he will put a case on the Censor board. The audio launch of Lakshmi's NTR will be held in a public meeting in Kadapa soon, Ramu announced a few days ago. Meanwhile, the controversial Viceroy Hotel episode of the film got leaked on to the Internet.
