Mohan Babu along with his Sree Vidyaniketan Engineering College students sat down for a massive protest today in Tirupati against the ruling TDP government regarding the fees reimbursement issue. Mohan Babu’s announcement gained prominence in view of the upcoming general elections and TDP says he is doing that to help YSR Congress.
In order to prevent any untoward incident, the Tirupati police officials deployed a large number of cops at Sree Vidyaniketan this morning. Going by the latest media reports, Mohan Babu will remain house arrested until the tensions ease out. However, Mohan Babu carried out his protest and made severe allegations on TDP Party and the Government.
But then, Telugu Desam Party bunked all the claims of Mohan Babu. TDP Government has released documents saying that it has released 88.57 Crore out of the 95 Crore Fees Reimbursement Dues for Mohan Babu's College. While Mohan Babu claimed that the government has defaulted on as much as 19 Crore to him. The Government official numbers showed the tally only to the tune of 6.43 Crore and also only for this year.
