The latest stunning development in Andhra Pradesh politics is the fight between Father and Daughter in Araku constituency as father contests elections from TDP and daughter from Congress. They both are from Varicherla the royal family in Kurupam. Kishore Chandra Deo from Congress who served the congress for more than 30 years later moved to TDP and he is being fielded as the candidate of TDP in Araku.
On the other hand his daughter Shruti Devi has also entered politics and from Congress party she is contesting elections and she was not okay with her father's idea of joining TDP and she remained with Congress itself.
Even though she had initially planned against contesting elections, now Congress has given her the ticket from Araku and with this the father and daughter will fight election in Araku, and on other hand, YSRCP has fielded Mdhavi Godetto a tribal background teacher in Araku.
