Anakapally MP and Jagan Mohan Reddy's loyalist Sabbam Hari reportedly announced that he would be contesting 2014 elections on YSR party ticket. He added that he wanted to quit the Congress long back and said that Jagan was the only able leader in the state to fight against Congress and its policy on the bifurcation of state issue.
Hari has been maintaining some distance from Jagan for the last six months when he thought he may not get any bail and now he seems to be making some maska moves to Jagan. His close colleagues both in Congress and YSRCP are not believing his assurances as they know that he will keep switching back and forth.
They are calling him GOPI which means ‘Goda Meeda Pilli’ ie cat on the wall in Telugu. In politics, jumping across parties is a common feature but the way Sabbam Hari has been moving, it is not only affecting his impression among political parties but also among the people of his constituency.
