Even before the AP Assembly polls, the Telugu Desam Party candidate had sensed the Party defeat. Dr. Rajasekhar, who became the TDP Candidate from Badvel Constituency is ready to withdraw from the competition. He seems to have realized that it is impossible to defeat YSR Congress in their Stronghold.
Rajasekhar, who confirmed his defeat, met with his family members yesterday and discussed the issue of withdrawal from the election. In addition, the MLA Candidate asked the TDP chief to give him Rs 3 crore which he paid for the ticket. This has happened when the TDP President is going to come to Badvel on Sunday.
Many TDP candidates are sensing the party defeat and are offering to withdraw. TDP is making last minute changes in such constituencies. This trend is particularly more in Rayalaseema where the Opposition Party is Strong. The Voting for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections will happen on April 11th.
