The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad finally cleared Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi's NTR. The political film was awarded U certificate with some minor cuts. The movie is now all set for a grand release on 29th March with USA Premieres a day before. The Censor is complete after AP Election Commission cleared the film.
After some complaints on the film, Election Commission asked the Producer to show the film to Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC). The movie producer was asked to come again after the release if necessary. Rakesh Reddy, a YSR Congress Leader, is producing the film while a Mumbai based Entrepreneur, Bala Giri of GV Films is presenting it.
Lakshmi's NTR is the story about NTR's last days in his widow, Lakshmi Parvathi's Point of View. It will have Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri family as the villains. In front of the media, Producer Rakesh Reddy went on to say that the movie is made on a Book written by NTR's Widow, Lakshmi Parvathi.
