Vasireddy Padma, the YSRCP spokesperson has welcomed and appreciated the Andhra Pradesh High Court order on Election Commission directives to Chandababu Naidu government by transferring three IPS officials inclusive of DG Intelligence AB Venkateswara Rao, and called it as a major blow for Chandrababu Naidu and a shame for him. She thanked the High Court for its verdict protecting democracy.
CBN had all along been making moves belittling EC, and YSRCP complained to the Central Election Commission earlier regarding Chandrababu Naidu misusing DG Intelligence AB Venkateswara Rao and other officials to boost TDP election win.
After request by team of YSRCP delegates to Election Commission to enquire on police officials, an investigation was conducted which lead to transfer of officials like DG Intelligence AB Venkateswara Rao, Srikakulam SP Venkatarathnam and Dr YSR Kadapa SP Rahul Dev Sharma. CBN's actions against the EC will be a black mark said Padma, and now AP Govt has been forced to implement these transfer orders.
