Accordingly Mumbai’s Jaideep Sajdeh saw a chance to build a business that could help the environment, create much needed low skilled jobs in India and make him rich. Meanwhile his family has been turning old garments from the West into recycled yarn for decades and later he decided to create a new source of demand for used textiles by starting a new business shopping bags made from reused cloth. Furthermore like most “recycled” bags on offer at grocery stores around the world, his bags are green because they are not made out of disposable plastic and can be used over and over again.

Reportedly Mr. Sajdeh’s bags, however are even greener, because they are made of old sheets, napkins and table cloths. Apparently his capacity today is around 1.5 million pieces a year and also plans to increase that to 5 million in the next four years. Furthermore he is already supplying them to some of India’s biggest retailers as well as international brands in India including Disney, Mattel, Colgate and Steve Madden.

Presently the company is not only helping the environment but has also created many low skilled job opportunities in the country while gaining added profit with each passing year. Meanwhile with 60 people in his team, Sajdeh carries out the task of turning second hand material into bags after checking and stamping them with designs properly and apparently each one of the bags carries the words, 'I am not a virgin' as all of them are made with pre-used material.

Moreover the company produces more than 15 lakh bags every year which are priced between ₹20 to ₹400. Perhaps these I-am-not-a-virgin bags are supplied to a list of national and international companies including Disney, Mattel, Colgate and Steve Madden.
