Even as the Congress top brass say there was no going back on Telagnana , the CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is persistant that it will take more time for T note to reach the Union cabinet for consideration .' T note will not come for another 30 days to Cabinet ' CM assured them . By then we can do something else to stall it. he assured the ministers.
Only 28 of the 36 member cabinet attended and inside story is that CM tried to pacify the seemandhra minsiters saying that nothing would happen for anothjer two months .CM told the ministers at the cabinet meet ( during political break) that the home ministry note will go to 11 other ministries for comments before sent to PMO and brings it up at Cabinet meet .At every cabinet meet at the end- for half an hour political issues are discussed when all officials take leave from the cabinet room whch is also not recorded .
However Telangana minsiters were angry at CM's behavior and advised him to not campaign agaisnt Telangana in cabinet meets . Jana Reddy says he expressed dissent over such behaviour of the CM but not publicly .' I told him when I was alone with him' says Jana.Atleast a month more ,says Kiran adding that the law ministry would raise the issue of the AP Assembly resolution on Telangana to avoid legal complications and the convention the Union government followed in respect of carving out three states in 2002.
