It has been revealed that police officers have captured bags with huge cash as they have seized more than Rs 10 lakhs cash from Nellore district's Fatekhanpeta based Narayana School. Police had reportedly received a tip off and following this an election squad was ready for an operation as the special election squad went to the Narayana school and started their search operation in the school premises and later they found cash stashed in the Principal's room.
It was found that money was placed hidden in school bags of children besides also kept hidden in plastic bags. Flying squad team was also able to capture materials like campaign promotional stuff like pamphlets with photos of minister Narayana from TDP who is contesting from Nellore.
Previously leaders from YSR Congress party had accused TDP of making use of Narayana educational institutions to stash cash and use for votes for notes to give voters in return for votes, and this raids by election teams proves this fact about TDP - Narayana link.
