There was an indirect agreement between the congress head Sonia Gandhi and the TDP head Chandrababu Naidu for the last three years wherein though both parties had been fighting in open, there was some secret understanding when it comes to Jagan and Telangana.
Now with sudden announcement of Telangana, political sources say that Sonia didn’t reciprocate Naidu’s gesture of staying away during no confidence motion in AP assembly last year. Naidu helped Congress at that time in return for delaying Jagan’s bail and also to make sure Telangana isn’t given.
In return Naidu had also reportedly promised TDP support to UPA-3 in 2014 but now with Telangana announcement, Naidu seems to have become extremely upset with Sonia Gandhi. Hence as revenge move he is trying to revive ties with BJP leadership so that he can give a fitting reply to both Jagan and Sonia.
