As per report the schedule for the local body polls in Telangana is announced. The ZPTC and MPTC elections will be held in three phases while the results will be declared on May 27th. Meanwhile the notification for the first phase of elections will be out on April 22nd while the polling is scheduled on May 6th. Furthermore the phase two notification will be released on April 26th and the polling will be held on May 10th.
Reportedly the last and final phase of elections will be held on May 14th and the notification for it will be issued on April 30th. Apparently the ruling TRS party is willing to sweep the polls. CM KCR has assigned ministers to take care of their respective districts and also directed MLAs to work for the party's victory in the local polls.
Moreover as KCR is planning to bring a new law in the revenue department, winning these ZPTC and MPTC elections are a must and currently the oppositions are drawing special strategies to give a jolt to the ruling TRS party.
