A 12th standard student from Vedhachandoor located in Trichy was arrested by police for reportedly brutally raping and killing a 13 years old girl by electrocuting her. The girl was studying her seventh standard. Due to summer holidays the girl was in her home and her parents went for work, leaving the girl alone in home.
After they returned they got a shock seeing her dead body with wire in her hand. Police suspected it to be murder and the girl's body was taken for postmortem.
Following the postmortem results it was observed that the girl was brutally raped and was electrocuted using current wire giving painful death. Now police arrested a class 12 student for the crime and he's arrested under Pocso act.
