After information from Karnataka police on bomb threat to Tamilnadu and neighboring states with the warnings on plan to bomb trains of southern states, protection was intensified.
It was found that the information was provided by a person Swamy sundara Murthy a lorry driver who was arrested in Bangalore by Karnataka police and it was revealed that he didn't have any evidence and that he's a habitual offender who makes fake calls.
He's a former army officer and his son was killed in war. During investigation he said he thought terrorists might come to India via sea, and so he informed cops.
