According to sources with YSR Congress claiming that they are going to form the government in Andhra Pradesh, many officials in the government have began getting in touch with the party President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. Meanwhile it is believed that is Jagan becomes the Chief Minister, then there could be more trouble for AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu along with his family run Heritage Group.
Furthermore YSR Congress leaders have been making allegations on Heritage as the one responsible for the closure of Ongole Dairy which has been profitable till 2014 and the losses dairy farmers have been facing ever since. Apparently YSR Congress also had raised an issue of the quality of Heritage milk being supplied as there were rumors of formalin mixed in excess quantities.
Moreover in addition the party had been blaming Chandrababu and Heritage for being responsible for the closure of Chittoor Dairy to benefit his business group. Perhaps they alleged that despite protests from Chittoor dairy farmers, Chandrababu's government did not bother about their sufferings. Hence they also claimed that private dairies have been exploring small and marginal farmers and making profits.
