KCR had met Stalin last year but after few months, the DMK chief had announced an alliance with Congress party in Lok Sabha elections and also for Assembly by-elections. Just before the results, KCR has started making moves as he aims to emerge as the kingmaker in the likely scenario that neither NDA nor UPA gets a clear majority on their own. As a part of this, TRS chief has proposed Federal Front on the lines of "1996-formula" in which Regional Parties will have the major say with National Parties supporting from Outside.
