Charlotte sources reported that North American Telugu Association (NATA) hosted NATA women’s day event in Charlotte, North Carolina with great pomp and gaiety. Over 300 women from all walks of life attended this event. Recently NATA president Dr. Raghava Reddy Ghosala addressed the gathering and outlined various activities being undertaken by NATA.

Furthermore NATA is driven by its motto which stands for socio-cultural efflorescence and committed development work, “Samskruthika Vikasame Naataa mata Samaja Sevaye Nataa bata”. The event raised funds for a local non-profit organization, which tackles human trafficking. Meanwhile on this occasion, anchor Sameera Illendula entertained the audience with games and raffle gifts and a fashion show conducted by Sunita Soundarajan, which was a tribute to the weavers of india was a treat to watch.



Moreover dance performances choreographed by Durga Sailaja Daliparthi and Lavanya Konuri had the audience in raptures. Apparently great ambience, delicious food and a wonderful crowd all added up accounted for a very memorable event for the Telugu Community in North Carolina.
