Presently Andhra Pradesh witnessing the scorching heat wave conditions throughout the state and over the past week, temperatures have increased to a vast extent. Several places in the state have recorded a temperature of 47 degrees Celsius. Earlier on Friday, Tripuranthakam in the Prakasam district recorded 47.10 degrees Celsius and temperatures are above 42 degrees in most parts of the state. Furthermore as per the unofficial calculations, the death toll due to heat wave conditions in the state has reached 100.

Further on Friday, 28 people have died due to sunstroke and 10 people died in Nellore district, seven in Guntur district, four in YSR district, three in visakhapatnam district, two in East Godavari district, one each in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. Moreover according to a recent release by the State Disaster Management Department, starting from May 11 to 15, a number of places in the state will be observing temperatures ranging from 40 - 47 degrees Celsius.



Apparently the Real time Governance Society (RGGS) has stated that the intensity of the heat wave conditions will be on the rise on Saturday as well and people should be alert. According to the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority in the next five days, temperatures will rise across the state within the next five days.
