hyderabad sources made a statement that brother the accused, who resides in the neighborhood visited the minor girl's residence. Reports added that he is a mechanic by profession, the accused sent the brother out of the house asking tea for him. Furthermore, once the victim's brother left the house, the accused sexually abused the 11-year-old girl and left before the brother's return.
Meanwhile, upon coming to know of the incident, the victim's mother lodged a complaint with the Medipally police at around 11.30am. Furthermore, due to the lack of action by the police, the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) intervened into the matter.
Hence following this, the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination in the evening. Moreover, an FIR was filed by the police on Sunday evening. Reports suggest that the police were occupied with arrangements for IPL final.
