Accordingly, the much-touted Xiaomi event slated for Monday, May 13 in china will now be awaited for one more device, a redmi laptop. Presently the speculation so far has been that Xiaomi is launching its high-end smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855SoC processor fitted in it. Meanwhile, the rumor on the laptop has now surfaced and it is being predicted that the event will feature the release of both the devices.
Furthermore, if this prediction on the laptop comes true, that would mean a first time the Chinese major has chosen to release a laptop in one of its sub-brands, redmi. Apparently, it does not have a redmi laptop in its product range as yet and in a way, the company will do what the other Chinese major huawei does.
Moreover, the rumors even suggest that Xiaomi might keep the redmi laptops priced at a lower end when compared to its main Mi Notebooks. Perhaps all these are merely speculative in nature and there is absolutely no confirmation from the company’s end. Moreover, the display on the new phone will be 6.39-inch in size with a full-HD+, 1080x2340 pixels screen resolution. Perhaps the major excitement is around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor to be fitted on this new phone.
