In recently held Lok Sabha elections for Tamil Nadu on April 18 actor, Siva karthikeyan' target='_blank' title='click here to read more about karthikeyan'>karthikeyan was allowed and given special permission to cast his vote despite not having his name on the voters' list. Siva karthikeyan' target='_blank' title='click here to read more about karthikeyan'>karthikeyan went to a school located in Valasaravakkam to vote and while his wife name was there, his name was missing.
Earlier for two years, he had voted in the same booth and later by the same noon he had successfully cast his vote. But the Election commission official Satyaprada Sahu told action will be initiated against the official who let Siva karthikeyan' target='_blank' title='click here to read more about karthikeyan'>karthikeyan vote.
When asked on this issue, Siva said that he is an Indian citizen and did his duty by casting his vote. He said he voted just as election commission tells everyone to vote to reiterate that it was not his mistake adding that his name was in the list even when he checked before few weeks, and hence he won't be explaining anyone on the issue.
