The Central Election Commission (ECI) has issued orders for repolling of five polling stations in Andhra Pradesh. The five polling stations are under Chandragiri constituency of Chittoor District. The ECI has issued a mandate to the state election commission to conduct polling for Assembly and Lok Sabha seats in the respective polling centers on 19th of this month.

Chandragiri Sitting MLA Chevireddy bhaskar Reddy recently met the State Election Commission and complained that one section of YSR Congress Voters was not allowed to Vote in the recent elections and there are few other complaints as well to the Commission about the same. So, a decision was taken for the Repolling.

It is known that Five Polling Stations in Andhra Pradesh have gone for a Re-Polling in Andhra Pradesh on May 6th. Normally, the Voting Percentage goes down in Repolling but this is not the case here. Except for the two booths in Guntur West and Kovvur, all the Booths registered more than 80% Voting.  Even the booths with the least voter turnout registered around 75% Voting.
