Dr. Payal Tadvi a second year MD Gynaecology student committed suicide in college hostel hanging herself. She did two surgeries and within few hours the 26 year old was dead. Payal’s parents have complained against fellow doctors of torturing the girl.

Following this a case has been filed under Anti-Ragging Act, Information technology Act and Section 306 for abetment to suicide, on her fellow doctors  hema Ahuja,  Ankita and  Bhakti Mehar. 

     


Arrests have not happened and accidental death report was filed. Payal’s cousin said Tadvi earlier complained of her three senior doctors torturing her not letting her meet her husband or have food as she was from a lower caste. Now cops and anti-ragging team are handling the case.
