YSRCP chief YS jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the oath as the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh at 12.23 pm today. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the indira gandhi Municipal stadium in Vijayawada amid a huge congregation of YSR Congress supporters from the length and the breadth of the state.

Only jagan has taken the oath and he is yet to finalize his cabinet. jagan is likely to expand his cabinet on June 7 with the assembly likely to be convened around 11th June. He will have to decide on a pro-tem Speaker to administer the oath to all MLAs. And the seniormost MLA in the new House is none other than TDP Chief, Chandrababu Naidu.

jagan will restrict his cabinet just to 25 and make it compact and effective. He is taking representations from the aspirants but asked them not to bring any pressure on him and leave the choice of his cabinet to him. Each of the ministers will be the incharge to the 25 Parliament Seats of AP.
