After completing to take oath as New Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, jagan has addressed the people on increase of Pension to old age people. Increasing the pension amount is one of the YSRCP’s navaratnas that attract many voters. YSRCP leaders made campaign that jagan would increase Pension amount to 3K immediately after taking the charge. But in his speech today jagan told that his government would increase the Pension amount 250/- every year which comes to 3K in the year 2024.
CBN had increased the pension to 2K effective from February this year. YSRCP leaders cried that it is the foul game. TDP has copied their manifesto. jagan didn’t mention during his canvas that his government increased 250/- per year. He gave clarity on Pension today in his speech. Increasing the 1K pension over next 5 years is not convinced by the aged people.
After 2014 General Elections CBN has promised to waive farmers’ loan of 1.5 lacs in 5 installments, YSRCP demand CBN why he shouldn’t do one installment. Financial situation was grim in 2014 when compared to 2019. TDP has questioned the same point here to YSRCP. As a whole Iagan’s First Navaratna (Pension) wasn’t glitter properly.
